Michael “The Situation” Sorrentino, who was an assistant manager at a gym and used to work as a male stripper before his stint on Jersey Shore, will make an estimated $5 million this year. He also stands to rake in some cash for Dancing With the Stars, especially if he proves himself a competitor (doubtful, but possible) and hangs in there for a while. In case you thought that the ability to recognize when to cash in on his minor celebrity would come with the realization that it will be fleeting, you were probably wrong. The Situation has bought himself a Bentley costing over $100,000, and is getting it all tricked out.

It’s the car that abs bought — a 2008 Bentley coup for The Situation, and all he had to shell out was around $100,000.

Our Sitch sources say both cars were paid for through the brothers’ company — MPS Entertainment … brokered by Andy Eminger from Celebrity Rental.

We’re told the boys are getting the cars suped up with custom rims and sweet sound systems.

As for whether this douche rates a stint on Dancing with the Stars – did Kate Gosselin? She couldn’t dance and her bitchface and diva ‘tude stunk up the place, but people tuned it to watch it and that’s all that matters. The show even surpassed American Idol a few times, although Idol was really faltering under the weight of all those judges last season. E! Online points us to these comments that one of DWTS’ executive producers made about The Situation. The guy said that people will watch the show for him and that Jersey Shore is popular and that’s all that matters. “The reason has less to do with some lowering of the bar and more to do with the increased popularity of the reality shows and the rising star power of reality personalities themselves. Like him or hate him, The Situation is an incredibly recognizable celebrity who stars on a show that routinely thrashes scripted fare from a ratings standpoint.”

I’ve watched Jersey Shore one and a half times and that was plenty. The MTV people sent us a preview of the next episode and it involves some screaming and smacking between Sammi and J-Woww if you care. There’s a preview video up that’s just some dramatic music before the two get up in each other’s faces and start grabbing. The best part is seeing how short Snooki is compared to the other girls. The new episode airs tonight at 10pm.

Starring on this trashy show is how “The Situation” “earned” a Bentley and millions of dollars, along with maintaining a flat stomach and having the foresight to come up with a semi-catchy moniker. Unbelievable. Is this guy going to have a meltdown a la Spencer Pratt when his fame inevitably starts fading?
