The potential return of Phaedra Parks to the set of Real Housewives of Atlanta is not something everyone on the show is looking forward to.
In fact, it looks like it might create some serious issues between some of the stars.
Most notably, Kandi Burruss has confirmed that she might go as far as to leave the reality TV series altogether if the return of Phaedra was officially established.
The Xscape diva explained that she had no desire to work with Phaedra ever again, and would rather pursue other opportunities for her career instead of forcing herself to go through another set of episodes with her former co-star.
Many suspected that the drama between them was quite serious, but it was not clear until now that things went that deep.
Kandi pointed out that the things she has gone through because of Phaedra were not easy to forget, and she reiterated that she would always see her as a potential backstabber, and be wary of her motives because of what she had done in the past.
The mother of two explained: “Basically, I kind of feel like – in real life, if somebody, says to you or says about you, that you tried to drug somebody and sexually assault them, and it comes back that person was lying … would you want to work with that person? So, that’s just how I feel about it. That’s kind of scary to me.”
She added: “I just think it’s kind of crazy when you don’t even realize you’re in a battle with a person to the point where they would make up stuff about you. I wouldn’t even ever known she was doing that had Porsha not told it at the reunion.”
The things Phaedra said about Kandi did indeed cause many controversies, and even though they were later revealed to be lies, the damage was already done, and the relationship between the two was left strained permanently.
Most fans agree with Kandi’s assessment. One of them stated: “I agree with Kandi. I love Phaedra and all, but I wouldn’t want to work with somebody who tried to work hard to defame my reputation, then sit on multiple group events, and cast trips, and not mention a word to me. I wouldn’t want to work with that person either. Housewives have done crazier things, and have gotten forgiven.. I just hope Kandi & Phaedra can have a serious heart to heart, and just apologize for everything. I miss them as friends, but maybe some things aren’t worth forgiving..”

As for whether Phaedra will return to the show, nobody seems to know for sure, although many fans have been questioning whether they might see that happening in the near future, and it has remained a hot topic on social media.
