Herschel Savage Obituary, Death – I would like to offer my condolences to Harvey Cohen, also known as Herschel Savage, the well-known porn star who departed on October 8. In 2001, when I started my career in comedy. Harvey was my comedic partner in the comedy class I took. We were paired off and required to meet once a week to collaborate on joke writing. He was in almost a thousand pornographic movies during the golden age of pornography, which ran from the 1970s to the 1990s.
He was attempting to leave that life behind and pursue a career in acting and comedy. When I used to visit his flat, we would sit down and brainstorm jokes. His spouse was also a porn performer. They practiced Buddhism. They were both very kind individuals. We performed at the Hollywood Improv for our showcase following our six- or eight-week course.
Everyone likely recalls their first experience at a large comedy club. We were both positioned at the conclusion of the show, as I recall.
