Jeff Goldblum is most famous for his role in Jurassic Park (or it at least gets him the most recognition), and he has been an open book about pretty much everything that goes on in his life, and he most definitely always has an opinion on almost everything. One thing out of many that he has been open about is his family and his childhood, and with all the lookalike Jeff Goldblum’s that there are, you may be wondering: does Jeff Goldblum have a twin?

Jeff Goldblum is not a twin, however, the Jurassic Park actor went viral in 2020 after a look-alike “doppelganger” caught the media’s attention following being recorded in a street brawl.

You can read more about the violent incident and Goldblum’s siblings below.

Jeff’s Doppelgangers

Over the years it has surfaced that Jeff Goldblum has many lookalikes. This should come as no surprise because rumor has it that even you have a doppelganger as does everyone—we all have a duplicate of ourselves somewhere out in the big wide world.

Some may argue that there’s only a one in a trillion chance for someone to have a lookalike, and a one in 135 chance for someone to have an exact doppelganger, so you may not ever stumble across your lookalike or your doppelganger unless you’re in the public eye as much as Jeff Goldblum is.

In 2016, an image posted to Imgur (which you can see here) made headlines after sparking rumors that it was Jeff’s long lost twin. The similarities between the two are uncanny and they do share some eerily similar features, so it would be easy to mistake the pair for being the exact same person. Elite Daily reported that just 24 hours after being posted, the image had amassed not one, but 2.5 million views and they described the pair as ‘identical’.

Two years later, in a 2018 interview with BBC America, Jeff explained his reaction to his doppelgangers. He described that he experiences many people approaching him and telling him that they’ve always been told that they are the spitting image of him. He says he tries to be ‘diplomatic’, responding in the same way: “That’s flattering to me.”

There seems to be a pattern here, because in 2020, another two years on a video surfaced and hit the headlines. It was footage of a street brawl between two men, one of which was claimed to be Jeff’s lookalike.

Upon the video hitting the headlines, some YouTubers like Joe Rogan (who was also a martial arts commentator) and Gavin McInnes reacted to the video. In his reaction video, Gavin McInnes, a writer and commentator, described the street brawl as “a great fight.”

The Goldblum Family

Reading about Jeff’s doppelgangers might have got you wondering if he actually has any siblings and who precisely they are.

Jeff has two brothers and a sister; he’s the second youngest. His brother Rick, died in 1971 at age 23 of chronic kidney disease. His other brother Lee was an obstetrician-gynecologist before his death in 2000 at age 45—Jeff described his father’s treatment of Lee as “cruel” with reports revealing he was sent to therapy to ‘fix’ his homosexuality.

Pamela, Jeff’s younger sister, followed in her brother’s footsteps in the acting industry, starring in the 1991 movie The Favour, the Watch and the Very Big Fish where she was the lady in the subway. Meanwhile, her brother, Jeff, starred as the pianist. Prior to this, she appeared in the 1987 film, Someone to Love as an uncredited extra and after appearing in The Favour, the Watch and the Very Big Fish, she went on to feature in the 1996 film Little Surprises.
